CCWGA TOURNAMENT – Terms of the Competition - 2026

This event is an 18 Hole Event – open to all women who hold a Australian Golflink number and GA Handicap.

 

36 Hole Championship

Div 1: GA Plus to 22.0 - Stroke & Nett

Div 2: GA 22.1 to 32.9 - Stableford

Div 3: GA 33.0 to 45.0 - Stableford

Daily Event - 18 holes

Div 1: GA Plus to 22.0 - Stroke & Nett

Div 2: GA 22.1 to 32.9 - Stableford

Div 3: GA 33.0 to 45.0 - Stableford

 

Event details:

·        Entry fees will not be refunded after the closing date, substitutes are permitted. 

·        Late Entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Committee.

·        Prizes will be determined by the number of entries in each Division after the closing date.

 

The following Terms of the Competition are to be read in conjunction with

CCWGA General Terms of the Competition.

·        The Rules of Golf and any local rules of the club at which events are played shall be the rules of play during the tournament.

·        Competitors must report to the starter 20 minutes before their starting time.

·        The GA handicap you have on the day will determine your division. Maximum daily handicap of 45.

·        In the event of a tie in Div. 1 there will be a sudden death play-off; in all other Divisions the GA countback system will apply.

·        Motorised transport is permitted. The committee takes no responsibility for the availability of carts.

·        Caddies are permitted except for professional golfers.

·        Mobile Phones: Making or taking a phone call by a competitor whilst on the golf course during an event is distracting and inconsiderate. If the phone rings this is deemed to be inappropriate use and the committee may take disciplinary action against the offending player in accordance with Rule 1.2a Deliberately distracting other players. A mobile phone can be used for scoring (i.e Golf Genius App) taking photos and distance measuring device facility. It may be used provided that the facilities to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect play (i.e. gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc) are NOT used. However, the ‘phone communication’ facility of the mobile phone should be turned off.

·        Dress regulations of the host club apply.

·        CCWGA accepts no liability or responsibility for loss, theft or damage to participants equipment.

·        Players enter at their own risk and must be aware that there is a risk that they may suffer personal injury as a result of participating in this event. On entering this event they agree that CCWGA is not liable for any personal injury however caused.

·        The CCWGA will make all arrangements and will have full power to alter or make any variations to the conditions or programme should it be necessary. In the event of any dispute or protest the match committee’s decision will be final.
