Champions Day 2026
This is a STROKE event and comprises of five events. It is played in October and is open to the players who qualify in each of the following sections at their own club.

CCWGA CHAMPIONS DAY - TERMS OF THE COMPETITION – 2026
Played in-conjunction with the CCWGA General TOTC
Open to the player who has won any of the events detailed below, at their Club.
Players must be a current financial member of the Central Coast Womens Golf Association.
NO SUBSTITUTES ARE ALLOWED. Maximum daily handicap of 45.
All events to be played over 18 holes.
· If a player is in both stroke & stableford events the player shall play STROKE & mark their scorecard accordingly.
· In the event of a tie in Div. 1 Club Championship event, there will be a sudden death play-off over pre-determined holes. (See Appendix 2 in General Terms of the Competition.) In all other events a tie will be determined by GA count-back system.
· Caddies are permitted except for professional golfers.
· Motorised transport is permitted. Players are responsible for booking their own carts.
· Entry Fees are to be paid only once by all players entered regardless of the number of events they have qualified for.
· Payment is to be paid by the Club at which the player qualified.
· In the event a player qualifies in multiple events at different Clubs their home Club pays the entry.
· Players may win only one trophy per event as listed below:
STOKE EVENTS:
Divisional prizes will be awarded to the Gross winner and Nett winner only in each of the following events:
· Club Champion Divisions 1, 2 & 3
Club Champion must have played all rounds of your Club Championship and are the gross divisional winner.
· Veterans Champion Divisions 1, 2 & 3
Veterans Champion must be an affiliated member of the NSW VWGA (over 50years)
A Clubs Veterans Champion is nominated by the Club from a Championship event run in the current year.
Divisional prizes will be awarded to the Nett winner and Runner up only:
· Golf NSW Medal Winners Divisions 1, 2 & 3
The winner of the NSW Medal in each division at club level is the player returning the lowest nett aggregate of three (3) scores at the end of the six rounds. The winner of each Division will qualify to play at the GNSW State Final. Players will attend the GNSW State Final at their own cost.

STABLEFORD EVENTS:
Prizes awarded to the winner of each division only:
· CCWGA Stableford Brooch Divisions 1, 2 & 3
The winner in each division at Club level shall playoff for the CCWGA Stableford Brooch.
The competition consists of five (5) stableford rounds of 18 holes, which are determined by each Club and played between February and July. For all information refer to the Stableford Brooch TOTC.

Prize awarded to the winner only:
· Club Rookie of the Year - nett winner Division OTF
a. An entrant must NEVER have held a golf link number or had a G.A. prior to 1 July in the previous year of the Champions Day. i.e. 1 July 2025 for the 2026 Champions Day (entrants have been playing for approximately 18 months).
b. Each Club can enter one Rookie of their choice into this category.
