NewCoast Cup

NewCoast Cup is a 1-day event where CCWGA will compete against NHDLGA (Newcastle District). It is a team match play event with a morning & afternoon session in the vein of a Solheim & Ryder Cup.  The top 12 players from each District will be battling it out to win the NewCoast Cup, of which CCWGA was victorious in 2022.

Morning Session - Foursomes Scratch Match Play (6 matches) 8.15am

Afternoon Session- Singles Scratch Match Play (12 matches) 1.30pm

· 2 points for a win

· 1 point for a draw

· Matches do not proceed past the 18th Hole

· Cart are allowed at players own cost

Winner of the cup will be the district with most points.

Eligibility

· Players must be members of CCWGA and have a GA 12 or less.

· Clubs are requested to nominate players who are available to play on Monday 4th Dec 23

· Nominations are to be directed to ccwga.captain@gmail.com by Friday 20thOctober

· Squad of 16 players. Team consists of 12 players and 4 reserves.
